Season 3; Week 6: July 20

We weeded the carrots by hand.

Season 3; Week 5: July 13 : Even more weeding

Not really much to write about when you spend 4 1/2 hours in the sun weeding 2 carrot beds from the shepherd's purse weed that is going to seed. That was my workshift.

Season 3, Week 4; July 6 : More weeding

I helped to weed the squash field and mustard plants from the peppers with a stirrup/scuffle hoe, also stirred up the soil, thinned out some plant fields; about 4 of us worked about ¾ acre.

It was hot. It hasn't rained a long time, the ground looked very dry.

Oh, snack time was cabbage, raspberries, water, nuts, and nutella in the field.
