Season 4: Pickup August 23, 2012

Here was the pickup for August 23.

Beets, summer squash, zucchini, leeks, onions, corn, cucumbers, okra, tomatoes, peppers, lettuce, carrots.

Season 4: Visit/Potluck August 9, 2012

As a half share member, we pickup our vegetables every other Thursday (ten pickups over 20 weeks).
The pickups were scheduled for June 14, June 28, July 12, July 26, August 9, August 23, September 6, September 20, October 4, October 18. Last night was another potluck event which we attended. It was nice that it was scheduled during a Thursday night pickup. After loading the share into the car, we stayed to enjoy some food and conversation.

This was the share distribution; we were lucky to be a part-time share member because we received a small watermelon.  Whenever I return to the farm, I am reminded about my wonderful experiences here.

Season 4: Mid June Visit/Potluck

Erin had a potluck during a pickup day. As I wandered around, it was like coming home to high school, as my mind was experiencing all the hours that I spent there in previous years.

Season 4: Half Share Member

Unfortunately there will not be a fourth season as a farmhand, however our family is participating as a half share member. If I do volunteer any time at Mud Creek Farm, I will post my activity.
